AIR MONITORING AND ANALYSIS

Air pollution - Any atmospheric condition in which certain unwanted substances present in such a concentration that they can produce undesirable effects on man and his surroundings. These substances are gases (Carbon monoxide, Carbon dioxide, hydrocarbons, Nitrogen oxides, Sulphur dioxide, etc.) and Particulate matters (dust, smoke, fumes, aerosols).

SAENCO cover the following areas of monitoring and analysis:

  • Ambient and work place Air Quality -as per NAAQM/MoEF/Factory act for parameters like Temperature, Relative Humidity, Air borne contaminants such as CO, NOx, VOCs, Acid Mists, Oil Mists, Trace metals, Welding fumes and air microorganisms.

  • Process Emission Stack and Fuel Emission Stack for the parameters like Temperature, Velocity, Suspended Particulate Matter (SPM), Particulate Matter (PM10), Particulate Matter (PM 2.5), Sulphur Dioxide (SO2), Oxides of Nitrogen (NOx), Carbon Monoxide (CO), Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Lead (Pb), Hydro Carbons (HC), Benzene, Benzo (a) pyrene, Arsenic, Nickel, Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), Ammonia (NH3), Acid Mists, Oil Mists, Trace metals, Welding fumes, etc.
